Mayoral candidates will fix potholes!

Iowa City, IA -- Mayoral candidates Marian Mallow (Democrat) and Cyndi Collum (GOP) are going to fix the potholes!

Mallow will keep city property taxes and sales taxes where they are, raised 13% by the previous Democratic mayor. Cyndi is going to cut property taxes 50% AND fix potholes!

Where will the money for the potholes come from? Cuts in school budgets?
"No, not school money."

Parks and recreation? We removed all the dead and dying ash trees along city streets, but parks and recreation areas need tree removal. And three of the city pools need major repair and will be closed for the summer.
"That's right, so there is no salary to pay for the pool staff. I will take care of the pools. We can get cheap contracts in September."

How about the elderly? Shutting down the senior centers? Free clinics? Community healthcare?
"We will take care of all the women who do not have an abortion."

Cyndi seems to have a plan, but we still do not know where the money for the potholes in coming from.

Campaign for President appears to be a one item thing: It's about Trump

Several Democratic candidates have jumped into the campaign for president of the United States. The man running the country for his own advantage, and the advantage of fully paid foreign powers, has shown what THE PRESIDENT can do.

He can go anywhere, meet any number of dictators and eat Kentucky Fried Chicken out of a bucket on the way home.

A socialist candidate from the East Coast has made it clear, this man must go!

A woman candidate who seems to want to take care of mothers with children in minimum wage jobs says that this man is the enemy:

A man who used to be vice president also thinks that we must get rid of this man. The man is a joke:

Another woman has focused on the inept handling of domestic policies during TRUMP's administration. We think she is from California, where all those crazy ideas come from.

Another candidate has drawn attention to himself and his personality. He was a rich kid with with a wild youth. He may start talking about that and his centrist ideas and his love of foreigners. he paints a picture of Trump as inhumane. But the audience hears TRUMP and we know at that point that it's really all the same.

Trump still after Hillary and Muller and Comey

Washington, June 2, 2020 -- With the Democrats gaining ground in the election, and still no wall with Mexico, president Trump is a man on a mission.

The things started going badly after McConnel gave up protecting things in the Senate. He is not going to run again. Those attempted health care fixes got on the floor. There was some support among Republicans, but thank God Trump did not have to veto it. His party has failed healthcare.

The jobs have not come and exporting American goods has become problematic. Obama is popular as ever, and has given campaign appearances supporting the Democrat running against Trump. And there is no case to go against Obama. Even though Obama in fact caused the Trump presidency, by making Trump jokes years ago at the correspondents dinner.

So the task is clear. Go after Mueller, whose redacted parts in the Mueller Report leaked out a month ago. He can't be jailed, but Trump can try to disgrace him. Too chummy with the FBI, Mueller had some inside dirt, enough to get the House investigation going. And several criminal cases with Trump business.

Hillary is more difficult, but Trump has ordered AG Barr to spend all his remaining time "getting Hillary." The case against Comey in his FBI role is also being worked on, but Trump sees it as possibly getting bad press for the party. He wants his party to win, to hold back "radical Democrats" and save the country. Save the babies!

Trump Pulls Out!

President Trump has been pulling out of things since day one. The first might have been the Paris Agreement. Now he has pulled out again.

Trump announced on Wednesday, just before the Mueller report comes out, that he will be pulling out again. "Democrats are weak on crime, weak on border security, weak on drugs. It was time to pull out."

Trump walked out of the press briefing without answering questions. Journalists were left consulting each other to find out what Trump pulled out of.

Trump Voter Thinks Government Should Tweet To Her

Tulsa, OK -- Meghan Hunter, 42, understands everything Trump tweets. Yes, he sometimes changes his mind, but both times "I understood what he said. He's not complicated."

Now she also wants to understand her government. Both the Oklahoma one and the Federal. "When Obama was president, I never understood what they were saying." Now with Nancy Pelosi in charge of the House, it is still confusing. "I understood Pelosi a few times on Twitter. When she is on camera, I don't know what she is saying." Her message to Government: "Whatever you want to say to me, say it on Twitter."

When asked about global warming Meghan told us it was not necessary for her to understand it. "If Trump does not know it is real, we should not worry about it." We should worry about the border and the invasion by "millions of foreigners."

Are Mexicans rapists? "Only the ones that are gang members. Most of the men."

William Barr almost done redacting 90% of Mueller report

Attorney general Barr has been carrying the Mueller report in his briefcase for weeks.

Each day he picks up a 12 pack of sharpies from his office.

There may be a few half finished packages around his house. Barr deleted all mentions of Donald Trump, his campaign and Russian operatives. Manafort and Cohen have been left in.

Leaving some text in, the public will be able to string together two or three words here and there. On many pages, only the words "a" and "the" and "they" can be read over and over, with all the other text blocked out. On one page a  name was left by accident, "Stormy", but no other names of Trump associates were found. A few names of Democrats are found, and names such as Comey and Carter Page. Barr will use the Mueller Report mainly to outline the illegal tracking of Trump during the campaign by the FBI.

A Beautiful Wall!

President Trump is very pleased!

The wall is coming along nicely. The first mile went up, and he immediately went to inspect it.

When they looked at it, he requested the work men put up a stick at the next mile of new wall with "one of the orange pennants, you know, like at the used car lots" so he can look forward to his next visit. It may not be 2000 miles, but Trump will fly there every mile of the 50 or so planned miles of new wall. When 2020 comes around he can call it "mission accomplished."
