Dan is self employed and does not take any unemployment from Michigan or the feds. He does not even have health insurance.

Since he is in the lawn care business, he will march all through spring at whatever events he can drive to. Right after he takes the snow plow off the truck. He plows snow through several neighborhoods in Kalamazoo, a city only an hour from his secluded cabin.
